Torched Laughter Studio Diary: Day 30 - An Omission

Getting very close to getting the right microphone set up for the hand drums. Finally found the right combination placement for the microphones. The tricky one was the microphone that goes underneath the drum. Still not 100% but progress is being made.

I have made a glaring omission through out this blog: The songs themselves. All this time I’ve been writing about the mundane aspects of recording and some of the extracurricular gibberish associated with it but never delving into what is being recorded.

In the coming days I’m going to steer away from the day to day recording aspect and try to focus on the songs that will be delivered to you shortly.
